Remember climbing this mountain. Respect the opposition. Climb it everyday while handling yr business. Climb it easier each time. Know why you climbed the mountain in the first place. Climb with a purpose. Don’t just plant a flag and sell coffee at the base of the mountain, come down and tell the people how tranquil the air is at the top of that mountain. Encourage others too climb that mountain. Remember climbing that mountain. Respect the mountain. Respect the opposition. Climb it everyday while handling yr business. Be prepared to die and prepared to kill while climbing that mountain. Know why you climbed the mountain in the first place. Take your time. Climb with a purpose. Don’t just plant a flag and sell coffee at the base of the mountain, describe the vista up there. Give that purpose to another generation.

Oh yeah…uhhhh, Michigan passes a Medical Marijuana:

*swipe fromme Le Detroit Free Press*

Michigan voters approved the use of marijuana to treat debilitating illness today, according to an examination of key precincts by the National Election Pool, making the state the 13th to sanction so-called medical marijuana.

A spokesman for the Marijuana Policy Project in Washington, D.C., chief sponsor of the ballot initiative, said that after today’s election one in every four Americans will now live in a place where patients can use marijuana without fear of prosecution.

Though it isn’t as progressive as California’s Prop 215 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposition_215), it’s a step into the right direction for a state being hit hard by an ailing auto industry and rampant mid-western ignorance.

Yeah, there is a peace pipe on the top of the mountain.

Paramhansa Yogananda’s “Autobiography of a Yogi”, excellent reading for mountaineers.
